A wonderful cool climate Gamay Noir aged in neutral oak for 15 months. Beautiful garnet hue to the eye with aromas of red cherry, cloves, strawberry and hints of pepper.
The palate has medium tannins with notes of cherry, strawberry, and spice. This is followed by a long finish of cherry and pepper.
Harwood's Gamay Noir 2015 pairs well with pasta, pork, duck and hard aged cheese like Parmesan, Asiago and aged cheddar.
